We are delighted to introduce Angus Hume, who joins the William Aitken & Co (WAC) family as our new Head of Sales. With over 27 years of experience in the FMCG sector, Angus brings a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record in driving sales growth and achieving outstanding results.
Angus’s career has spanned both corporate and SME organisations across New Zealand and Australia. His extensive experience includes senior roles at Earthwise Group, Endeavour Consumer Health, Red Seal Natural Health, Nielsen, and Woolworths NZ.
Most recently, Angus served as Head of Sales for Earthwise Group, where he led significant ANZ business growth over the last six years. Earthwise was the first NZ manufacturer to be awarded the Deloitte Fast 50 Award.
Angus’ achievements also included being an integral part of a team winning Woolworths NZ 2023 Health & Beauty Supplier of the Year and successfully launching Glow Lab into Australia, making it a market-leading natural brand.
At WAC, Angus will lead our sales strategy and execution, focusing on sustainable growth and enhancing our market presence. His expertise in strategic planning, sales relationship development, and leadership will be invaluable as we continue to expand and innovate in the FMCG sector.
Angus is known for his ability to build high-performing teams and foster a culture of excellence, qualities that align perfectly with our values at WAC.
Outside of work, Angus has a real passion for big fish! Chasing marlin and tuna across New Zealand and internationally, loves the Warriors, and spending time with family and friends.
